There’s something special about life on the ranch—and no one knows that better than Trixie and Puck! These two faithful ranch dogs are the stars of my upcoming children’s book, Trixie and Puck’s Busy Day on the Ranch. This is the very first story in the new Trixie the Ranch Dog series.

In Busy Day on the Ranch, Trixie and Puck follow along as Al tackles his chores. From feeding the horses and checking fences to greeting visitors and enjoying quiet moments at sunset. It’s a story about friendship, curiosity, and the joy of ranch life. AND it’s told through the eyes (and wagging tails) of two loyal dogs.
Each book in the Trixie the Ranch Dog series will share a slice of life from Fish & Cross Ranch. A glimpse into the ebb and flow of Yampa Valley, Colorado. Whether it’s a busy day, a new adventure, or a quiet evening under the stars, Trixie and Puck are always nearby, ready to help and ready to play.
