I’ve been trying my hand at wall art lately—combining a little digital design with a touch of hands-on crafting. I used Canva for the layout and my Cricut for the cutting. I put together a few pieces to help bring the ranch to Arizona.
Each one started as a blank wooden board and a simple idea: something that felt like home.
- French Provincial Board: Elegant curves meet rustic charm. Perfect for a sign to hang outside our door letting everyone in Arizona know where we are from.
- Rectangular Board with Clipped Corners: This design has clean lines and a western edge. Perfect for quotes, Bible verses, or the Fish and Cross Ranch logo.
- Hanging Wood Plaque: Good for some many projects! From front porch or mudroom wall, especially with rope or leather twine for hanging.

The best part of making your own wall art is how personal it becomes. Every brushstroke, every color choice, every little imperfection makes it yours. That’s what I love about crafting—it’s the art of building beauty out of everyday life.
